A Snippet of Dennis Frayne’s Life and Experiences in Orange County, CA.

I love the County of Orange! It is the most wonderful place on earth to live! I grew up in North Tustin, CA, when there were more farmlands and many orange groves. As kids during the summer months we walked from our ranch-style home in St. Hubert’s Woods to Foothill High School to swim, picking oranges from the fruit trees whose branches dangled in our path. Our neighborhood friends had an avocado tree, so we sold avocados on the street corner, four or five for a dollar. And my grandparents who lived in Tustin had a large grapefruit tree, and they served us delicious grapefruit dishes when we visited, which was often. My Mom started me in piano lessons in our home there, and most of my siblings played as well. My parents still live in the same house we grew up in, and we visit often, and play piano together, and have so many fond memories.
